SDR as a Service Pricing in 2026: Retainers, Per-Meeting Rates and the Real Cost Per Meeting

SDR as a Service pricing in 2026 runs from $1,500 a month for an offshore rep to $25,000 for a dedicated team. The four pricing models, what drives the retainer, the hidden line items, the cost-per-meeting math, and how to negotiate the contract.

SDR as a Service Pricing in 2026: Retainers, Per-Meeting Rates and the Real Cost Per Meeting

Here are the numbers first. In September 2026, SDR as a Service pricing spans roughly $1,500 a month for a single offshore rep on a staffing marketplace, $4,000 to $18,000 a month for a managed program with a dedicated rep, $8,000 to $25,000 a month for a dedicated team of two or three reps with a lead, $3,000 to $8,000 plus $100 to $300 per appointment on hybrid contracts, and $150 to $800-plus per meeting on pure pay-per-meeting deals. Most companies buying a managed program land between $5,000 and $10,000 a month.

Those ranges are wide because the label 'SDR as a Service' covers four different products. This post explains what each pricing model actually buys, what moves a quote from the bottom of the range to the top, the costs that are billed separately, and the calculation that matters more than any monthly figure: what you pay per qualified meeting that actually happens. If you want the model explained from the ground up first, read What Is SDR as a Service and come back.

The four pricing models, with 2026 benchmarks

Retainer (managed program). A flat monthly fee for a dedicated rep, a share of a team lead, tooling and campaign management. 2026 range: $4,000 to $18,000 a month. US-based reps sit at the top; SalesHive, for instance, publishes US tiers from $7,000 to $12,000 a month and offshore tiers from $4,500 as of this writing. Offshore or nearshore-staffed programs from smaller vendors cluster around $4,000 to $6,000.

Staff augmentation. You rent the rep and do the managing. $1,500 to $3,000 a month per offshore rep is typical; HireSDRs lists $1,999 for full time and $999 for part time. Add your own tooling and data on top, and your own time.

Hybrid. A reduced retainer of $3,000 to $8,000 plus $100 to $300 per qualified appointment. The retainer covers the provider's fixed cost; the per-meeting bonus is where they make margin. Good hybrids also make the bonus conditional on the meeting being held, not merely booked.

Pay per meeting. No outreach retainer. Agencies quote $150 to $600 per qualified meeting for mainstream B2B titles and $800 or more for enterprise decision-makers, often with a setup fee and a minimum meeting commitment. Marketplaces price differently again: on Bountii the company pays a subscription of $199 a month (Starter, ten target accounts) or $499 (Growth, thirty accounts) and sets its own bounty per meeting from $200, with most mid-market bounties clearing at $300 to $500 and executive bounties at $500 to $1,000. The bounty is released only after the company confirms the held meeting met the written criteria.

What drives the quote up or down

Geography of the reps is the biggest lever: a US or Western European rep costs two to three times an offshore one, and providers pass that through. Channel mix is second: cold calling is labour-intensive and pushes the price up; email-only programs are cheaper and, in 2026, less effective. Management depth is third: a program with a dedicated team lead, weekly strategy calls and A/B-tested messaging costs more than one where a rep runs a template.

Target complexity matters too. Enterprise accounts with long buying committees need better data, more research per contact and more touches per meeting, so providers price those programs higher and promise fewer meetings. Finally, volume: two reps are rarely twice the price of one, so per-seat cost drops as the program grows, which is why vendors push multi-seat contracts.

The line items that are not in the headline price

Setup fees. One-off onboarding charges of $1,000 to $5,000 are common and often waived only if you sign a longer term. Data. Some providers include contact data; many bill it separately, at anywhere from a few hundred to a couple of thousand dollars a month depending on volume and vendor. Tools. Sequencing platforms, dialers and LinkedIn seats may be included or may appear as a pass-through. Domains and inboxes. Proper cold email needs secondary domains and warmed mailboxes; expect $100 to $500 a month for the infrastructure if the provider does it right.

Then there are the costs that never appear on an invoice. Your AE's time on meetings that were booked but not qualified. Your time on the weekly call. No-shows, which typically claim 20 to 40 percent of cold-booked meetings and which most retainers do not refund; see The Show-Rate Problem. And the minimum term, which is not a cost until the program fails, at which point it is the whole cost.

Cost per qualified meeting: the only number that matters

Take a mainstream managed program at $6,000 a month, plus $800 in data and infrastructure, so $6,800 all in. Providers will tell you to expect eight to fifteen meetings a month once ramped. At twelve held meetings you are paying $567 per meeting. At eight, $850. At four, which is a normal bad month for a cold program targeting a tough segment, $1,700. And in months one and two, when the program is warming up, you pay the same $6,800 for a handful of meetings or none.

Now the hybrid: $4,500 base plus $200 per held meeting. Twelve meetings costs $6,900, or $575 each, roughly the same as the retainer. But four meetings costs $5,300, or $1,325 each, and zero meetings costs $4,500. The hybrid is not cheaper on a good month; it is cheaper on a bad one, and bad months are where outsourced programs get cancelled.

Now pay per meeting on a marketplace. Bountii Growth at $499 plus twelve meetings at a $400 bounty is $5,299, or $442 each. Four meetings is $2,099, or $525 each. Zero meetings is $499. The price per meeting barely moves with volume, because you are paying for the outcome rather than the machine that produces it. Compare that with the in-house benchmark, where a fully loaded SDR at roughly $110,000 a year producing 120 to 150 held meetings lands at $730 to $920 per meeting after ramp, and considerably more in year one; the full breakdown is in How Much Does It Cost to Hire an SDR.

How to negotiate an SDR as a Service contract

Get the definition of a qualified meeting into the contract, including title, company fit, show-up, and a minimum duration. Tie any per-meeting fee to meetings held, not booked. Ask for a 90-day pilot instead of a six-month minimum, or for an exit clause that triggers if held meetings fall below an agreed floor for two consecutive months. Ask whether setup fees are refundable if the provider replaces your rep in the first quarter. Ask who owns the contact data and the sending domains at the end, because a provider that keeps both has you on a leash.

And benchmark against the alternatives before you sign, not after. If a provider's realistic cost per held meeting is above $800, an in-house hire, a freelance SDR, or a pay-per-meeting marketplace will usually beat it for mid-market targets; see 5 Alternatives to Hiring SDRs for the side-by-side. For senior executives at named accounts, no cold program is cheap, and a warm-intro bounty is normally the lowest cost per meeting available.

Pricing benchmarks at a glance

Staff augmentation: $1,500 to $3,000 per offshore rep per month, you manage; cost per meeting depends entirely on you. Frequently asked questions

How much does SDR as a Service cost per month?+

In 2026, managed SDR as a Service programs typically cost $4,000 to $18,000 a month, with most buyers paying $5,000 to $10,000. A single offshore rep through staff augmentation runs $1,500 to $3,000, dedicated teams of two or three reps $8,000 to $25,000, and hybrid contracts $3,000 to $8,000 plus $100 to $300 per appointment.

What is the cost per meeting for outsourced SDRs?+

Divide the all-in monthly cost by held meetings. A $6,800 program producing twelve held meetings costs $567 per meeting; at four meetings it costs $1,700. Pay-per-meeting agencies quote $150 to $600 for mainstream targets and $800 or more for enterprise; on the Bountii marketplace a qualified meeting typically costs $350 to $1,000 including the subscription.

Do SDR as a Service providers charge setup fees?+

Many do, typically $1,000 to $5,000, sometimes waived for longer terms. Data, tools, secondary domains and warmed inboxes are also frequently billed separately, adding 15 to 25 percent to the headline retainer.

Is pay-per-meeting cheaper than a retainer?+

On a good month they cost about the same per meeting. Pay-per-meeting is cheaper on bad months and during ramp, because you pay nothing for meetings that do not happen. Retainers are cheaper only when a program consistently delivers at the top of its promised range.

What is the minimum contract for SDR as a Service?+

Most managed programs require three to six months. Push for a 90-day pilot or an exit clause tied to a minimum number of held meetings, and check whether the term resets when the provider replaces your rep.

How does Bountii pricing compare to SDR as a Service?+

Bountii charges a subscription of $199 a month for ten target accounts or $499 for thirty, plus a bounty the company sets from $200 per qualified meeting, paid only after the meeting is held and confirmed. There is no outreach retainer, no minimum term on meetings and no charge for meetings that do not qualify.
